POS Interbank Switching on the Trionis Network

Trionis offers clients switching and processing services enabling POS transaction processing over the Trionis Network.

Our POS transaction and switching service is based on a system that can support both single message and dual message formats. Our switching service supports the full range of POS transactions for both pay now (debit) and pay later (credit) cards. In addition, Trionis can support bilateral agreement processing between schemes utilising a variety of messaging formats, including Trionis and the Berlin Group formats, with the advantage that a client does not need to connect to all the individual participants.

Additional SEPA Cards Framework (SCF) compliant schemes can be added with minimal effort from users, thus enlarging acquirers’ acceptance portfolios and allowing issuers’ domestic schemes low cost SEPA entry.

A cost effective alternative

We offer competitively priced switching and processing of POS transactions over the Trionis Network, whilst maintaining a high quality of service. Interchange and scheme fees linked to POS transactions are determined by the scheme used to complete the transaction. Interchange fees are regularly imported by Trionis into the network to ensure compliance with the scheme requirements.
