US-based digital banking solutions provider TrueNorth has teamed up with Brim Financial, a Canada-based provider of next-generation credit card-as-a-service platform.

The partnership aims to provide advanced consumer, small and medium business (SMB) and commercial credit card solutions to banks and fintechs in North America.

It brings together complementary strengths of both Brim and TrueNorth.

The partnership will invest in joint go-to-market and co-innovation efforts, along with an integrated delivery organisation that supports Brim’s market expansion.

TrueNorth CEO Alex Gonikman said: “We are delighted to join forces with Brim, a company that is disrupting the industry. Our collaboration with Brim perfectly aligns with our mission of bringing best-in-class technologies to our customers.

“Through this partnership TrueNorth will co-invest in creating dedicated Brim delivery expertise, as well as assets and accelerators, including pre-integrations, methodologies and best practices to increase project predictability and speed to market.”

TrueNorth enables digital innovation within the financial services sector by providing a complete suite of services including advisory, implementation, and systems integration.

The company has development centres across the world and strategic offices across the US and employs more than 180 professionals delivering advanced digital solutions.

Brim Financial is a fast-growing enterprise technology company offering a turn-key credit-card-as-a-service platform and feature-rich products, delivering a wide suite of payment solutions.

In December last year, Brim entered a strategic partnership with Mastercard to embed Mastercard’s open banking capabilities across its end-to-end platform.

The partnership will introduce an advanced, and modern credit card platform to financial institutions, fintechs, regional and community banks, and large brands in the US.

Brim CEO Rasha Katabi said: “We are thrilled to partner with TrueNorth, a company that shares our passion for innovation and excellence in the financial services industry as we accelerate our rollout with banks in the US market.

“TrueNorth has a proven track record of delivering cutting-edge digital solutions to financial institutions, we are confident that they will help us streamline client implementations as well as scale and support the growth of our business.”
