Goldman Sachs Transaction Banking (TxB) has partnered with Modern Treasury to provide integrated software and payment solutions to corporate customers.

Modern Treasury is engaged in providing payment operations software for companies, enabling them to transfer and track money, and automate the cycle of money movement.

Through the partnership, the companies aim to help their joint customers easily embed and scale domestic and international payments into their products.

Modern Treasury will use its Payment Operations software platform for payments powered by TxB, to enable an integrated payment solution for mutual clients.

The clients can open virtual accounts, make domestic and cross-border payments, view real-time payment statuses, manage incoming payment receipts, and access other services.

Goldman Sachs Transaction Banking product and sales global head Eduardo Vergara said “Embedding payments into software products is increasingly the trajectory of commerce, and by partnering with Modern Treasury, we are creating new opportunities for clients to seamlessly leverage our payments capabilities within their own platforms.”

The companies said they have been serving their mutual clients since the last year.

Their product teams have determined to address emerging needs, strengthen the integration, and offer a unified product experience to their mutual clients.

Modern Treasury co-founder and CEO Dimitri Dadiomov said: “Modern money movement is software driven. Goldman Sachs understands software developers and has built award-winning APIs2 for this audience.

“Modern Treasury fills the payment operations gaps to provide our joint clients with a best-in-class software solution for money movement, so they don’t have to build it themselves.”

In October last year, Goldman Sachs TxB partnered with American Express to provide an integrated cloud-based payments solution platform to large corporate clients.
