Diebold Nixdorf has collaborated with Mastercard to provide an industry-defining and managed self-service managed solution to the customers in banking and retail sectors.

The new managed solution will aggregate Diebold Nixdorf’s expertise in omni-channel innovation and consumer transactions on the front-end with Mastercard’s advanced processing services and broad global network capability on the back-end.

Mastercard Asia Pacific digital and emerging partnerships executive vice president Rama Sridhar said: “At Mastercard, we are always considering what the future can bring, especially in the context of evolving the digital ecosystem.

The single-window solution, which is said to leverage Diebold Nixdorf AllConnect Services infrastructure, will be initially provided to the banking clients in Asia Pacific region.

Later, the managed solution will also be offered to retail clients in the region.

Delivered through as a Service model, the managed solution will help customers to improve their channel operations.

The self-service managed solution will allow banks and retailers to enhance operational efficiencies, as well as adopt and integrate best-of-breed emerging solutions quickly.

Mastercard’s advanced network switching and data/fraud analytics capabilities will help banks and retailers to deal with legacy infrastructure challenges.

With the support of managed solution, the end users can securely use mobile devices to transact at automated teller machines (ATMs).

The managed solution will also help financial institutions to launch new products with speed and agility that enhance the personalization experience for consumers.

The latest announcement was based on Mastercard and Diebold Nixdorf’s existing collaboration established in June. They have collaborated for ATM innovation through bringing all the conveniences of digital payments.
