US-based payments technology company Brightwell has teamed up with digital payments company Visa to enable payouts to eligible bank accounts and wallets.

Under the partnership, Brightwell will leverage Visa Direct to allow payouts to bank accounts and wallets around the world.

Brightwell will be the first Visa-enablement platform provider in North America to offer all cross-border payment modalities through Visa Direct.

Visa Direct is a digital payment network that provides reach to more than 8.5 billion endpoints, including three billion cards, three billion accounts and 2.5 billion digital wallets.

Brightwell said that, together with Visa Direct, it will provide its clients with rapid and easy global payments.
