ATM Interbank Switching on the Trionis Network

Our ATM interbank switching service enables acquirers and issuers to process ATM and manual cash transactions from a variety of schemes which are linked into the Trionis Network.

Trionis is one of the only networks offering the flexibility to use single message or dual message formats. The use of single message format enables customers to benefit from initiating and concluding a transaction within a single message cycle.

Trionis can support bilateral agreement processing between schemes utilising a variety of messaging formats, including Trionis and the Berlin Group formats, with the advantage that a client does not need to connect to all the individual participants.

Our ATM interbank switching service is designed to support all SEPA Cards Framework (SCF) compliant schemes:

  • EAPS
  • EUFISERV
  • MasterCard
  • Visa

Additionally we can support the following international card schemes:

  • AMEX
  • China Unionpay
  • Diners International
  • Discove

Additional SCF compliant schemes can be added with minimal effort from users, thus enlarging acquirers’ acceptance portfolios and allowing issuers’ domestic schemes low cost SEPA entry.

Choice and flexibility

Trionis has developed a series of gateway services that provide connection to other networks and payment systems, thereby allowing users the freedom to choose the level of acceptance that best suits their business needs. Access to these gateways is available to all users of Trionis Interbank Switching services.

A cost effective alternative

We are able to offer competitively priced switching and processing of ATM and manual cash transactions over the Trionis Network, whilst maintaining a high quality of service. ATM service fees and scheme fees linked to ATM and manual cash transactions are determined by the scheme used to complete the transaction. ATM service fees are regularly imported by Trionis into the network to ensure compliance with the scheme requirements.
