Cards Off enables customers to purchase goods on the internet while safeguarding their personal information. With Sterling Multi-Enterprise Finance Gateway, Cards Off is able to provide an innovative, value-added service for online transactions, ensuring payments are secure, that personal identities are protected and that all deliveries are fulfilled successfully.
Sterling Multi-Enterprise Finance Gateway acts as a central hub for the automated and secure exchange of information between the bank, the web merchant, the logistics provider and the customer. It benefits both the web merchant and Cards Off customers:
Denis Gaultier, chief technology officer for Cards Off, said: Online transactions involve extremely complex processing, connecting multiple partners across the supply chain. Sterling Multi-Enterprise Finance Gateway plays a critical role in facilitating the information exchange across financial and logistics processes, enabling us to provide secure, end-to-end transactions.
Ultimately this allows us to meet the needs of our customers, consistently delivering on client satisfaction while remaining cost-effective. It will also act as a reliable, scalable and secure platform that will support our goal for geographic expansion.
Sterling Multi-Enterprise Finance Gateway integrates with the Cards Off SAP-enabled ERP system, centralising and administering the flow of transaction data. It also ensures Cards Off complies with data integration standards required by the relevant banks, enabling Cards Off to be one of the first payment institutions as defined by the European Community Payment Services Directive.
Richard Spong, financial services industry marketing manager of Sterling Commerce, said: Centralised administration helps provide visibility into the supply chain so Cards Off can extend its processes and transaction information to third-party companies implicated in the order, be they in the financial value chain or the physical supply chain. The solution is straightforward and offers a quick route between all points of contact, while maintaining reliability and security.
