Yes Bank, an India-based private sector bank, has appointed Ruzbeh Deboo as executive vice president and head of Global Indian Banking.
Deboo will be spearheading the Global Indian Banking initiatives at Yes Bank, which include delivering the bank’s liabilities goals with focus on cross-sell of wealth management & insurance products.
Deboo has over 16 years of experience primarily in the NRI business. Prior to joining Yes Bank, he was heading the NRI banking division at Barclays Bank. He was a key player in setting up the NRI business for Barclays Bank in India, and was part of the core team for the Global Retail and Commercial Banking division.
Prior to Barclays Bank, Deboo was with ICICI Bank for over five years, and has worked in various capacities in their International Banking Group.
