The Banco del Estado de Chile has ordered 186 ATMs from Wincor Nixdorf's partner IBM, which markets Wincor Nixdorf's banking solutions in North and South America.

The bank, the third largest in Chile, will see an increase in its installed base to 665 units after the installation of the new equipment. Meanwhile, the contract will increase Wincor Nixdorf’s ATM presence in Chile to almost 1,300.

The order, which is to be installed by the end of September 2006, is comprised of 90 multifunction ProCash 2100 ATMs equipped with a passbook printer and an envelope deposit module for checks and cash, and 90 multifunction ProCash 1500 cash dispensers.
