Western Union Company has appointed David Yates as its new executive vice president for alternative channels.
Mr Yates joins Western Union from First Data Corporation, where he most recently served as executive vice president and president of First Data’s international division.
Mr Yates has extensive international information technology, banking and payment systems experience involving major systems projects throughout the US, Europe and Asia. He has served in executive roles with several major international corporations, including IBM, General Electric and American Management Systems.
