Webster Bank, a subsidiary of Connecticut-based Webster Financial, has launched mobile web banking service to its online customers.
The bank said that by using mobile banking service, the bank customers can pay bills, check balances, and transfer funds in their Webster Bank accounts using their web-enabled mobile phones.
According to the Webster, the mobile web banking has been optimized to accommodate the screen-size on mobile phones, including iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, and other web-enabled handheld devices.
Webster executive vice president and chief marketing officer Michelle Crecca said Webster customers can now bank any time, anywhere using their mobile phone with Webster mobile web banking. This convenience for people who are ‘on the go’ comes with the same safety and security that customers have come to expect from Webster.
