Visa has launched enhanced transaction data for Amazon Business purchases in the US, allowing the customers of the major US lenders to view their orders in detail.

Available to commercial accountholders of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citi and PNC Bank, the new enhanced transaction data functionality will allow the corporate customers of these banks to streamline expense management.

The data, offered though Amazon Business, will provide line-item details on all purchases made with their Visa commercial card and can integrate with reconciliation tools.

Furthermore, Amazon Business enables registered businesses and their selected corporate Visa commercial accountholders to easily make business purchases.

It also provides them with benefits, which includes free two-day shipping on eligible orders of $49 or more, complete line-item detail on Amazon Business purchases for enhanced visibility and improved analytics.

Furthermore, Amazon Business allows users to have controls with multiple users, spending limits and access to customised account-management tools, such as ability to set up multi-user accounts and spending limits.

Visa global head of products and solutions Vicky Bindra said: “Tracking and reconciling online purchases made with commercial cards can be a time-consuming task, and at Visa, we are continuously looking for innovative ways to simplify the process.

“Visa’s collaboration with Amazon Business and our bank partners will ultimately help our commercial accountholders in the US spend less time on reconciliation of their purchases and allow more card management options – all with the existing value and cost-savings that come with an Amazon Business account.”
