Union Bank, a subsidiary of UnionBanCal, has opened a new full-service retail branch with a priority banking office, in Laurel Heights area, San Francisco.

The new branch will be led by vice president and branch manager Vien Hinh, vice president and priority banking relationship manager Jose Antonio and financial services officer Brian Kim.

Hinh will direct all aspects of branch operations, while growing the bank’s customer base and developing new relationships with individuals and small businesses throughout the Laurel Heights area.

Antonio will serve as relationship manager for priority banking, focused on managing and advising Laurel Heights’ mass affluent families, individuals, and local entrepreneurs on complex banking and investment needs.

Brian Kim will join the new branch from Union Bank’s Menlo Park office, where he was a financial services officer. He previously held personal banking and premier banking positions at Citibank and Wells Fargo Bank, respectively.

Union Bank Northern California Market president Elaine Genevro said that Vien, Jose and Brian bring a wealth of experience and deep, local community connections; together, they will embed Union Bank’s full-service and high-touch approach to banking even further into the San Francisco area.

UnionBanCal is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, which is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group.
