TSYS Europe and Lloyds TSB have successfully launched a new money transfer card in the UK for international customers.
The new Silver account from the UK bank offers an innovative money transfer prepaid product, aimed specifically at the rapidly growing number of newly-arrived migrants living and working in the UK.
The Silver account was launched on April 23, 2007 and initial customer response has been fantastic, said Caroline Brady, head of segments at Lloyds TSB. It has underlined the strength of our product offering and is testament to the excellent teamwork shown by Lloyds TSB and Tsys.
Tsys is delighted to be working with Lloyds TSB on the Silver account prepaid card, and in being able to support an innovative product for one of Lloyds TSB’s most rapidly growing consumer segments, said Kelley Knutson, managing director of Tsys Europe. Teams from both organizations worked in close co-operation throughout this project to launch one of the quickest prepaid products to market by a major bank.
