Texas Gulf Bank, an independently owned and operated community bank, has opened a new branch in Friendswood, Texas, bringing the total number of Texas Gulf Bank locations to eight.

Texas Gulf Bank provides business and personal depository and lending services. Texas Gulf Bank’s Bay Area branch will be led by Loy Trevino, who brings 26 years of experience in middle market commercial lending, executive and professional lending, financial analysis, and underwriting to his new role.

Also joining the Bay Area team will be Traci Garcia, VP Lending, who brings 33 years of experience in community banking, and Camille Jury, VP Lending, with 21 years of community banking experiance. All three have been members of the Friendswood banking community for more than 20 years.

Texas Gulf Bank CEO Jimmy Brown said that for nearly 100 years, Texas Gulf Bank has grown in a stable and conservative fashion with a focus on credit quality. Texas Gulf Bank currently has more than $38m in equity capital which enables the bank to help build businesses.

"This new branch will provide new jobs, financing for Bay Area business owners, and support for the community," Brown said.
