Huntington Bank has appointed Susan Shipley as president of its Western Pennsylvania and Ohio Valley region, to manage the commercial business segment and organize business development and service activities in the region.

Reporting to Jim Dunlap, Huntington regional and commercial banking director, she will succeed David Hammer and spearhead other businesses activities in the region.

Having twenty-four years of banking industry experience, Shipley comes from The Royal Bank of Scotland/Citizens Bank, where she served as head of global trade finance for North America.

She joined Citizens in 2002 as managing director of domestic and international cash management, and managed global trade finance business in the US and Canadian markets across all RBS and Citizens Bank client sectors.

Prior to Citizen, she served PNC Bank for 14 years in various management positions including deputy group head of PNC global services and head of the strategic partners business in its treasury management division.
