Standard Life Investments names new UK equities investment director

Standard Life Investments has named Andrew Millington as the new investment director of UK equities team.

Mr Millington has previously worked with Baillie Gifford within their UK equities team and as manager of the Baillie Gifford Income Fund.

Mr Millington will report to David Cumming, head of UK equities. His initial focus will be on contributing to the analysis of UK stocks and sectors.

Mr Cumming said: Having already gained valuable experience during time spent in the North American Equities, Emerging Markets and finally the UK equities teams as manager of The Baillie Gifford Income Fund, we look forward to Andrew making a significant contribution to Standard Life Investments.
