Shanghai Pudong Development Bank has launched its dual-currency credit card in 16 new cities. The launch means the card is now available in 26 cities throughout China.
Issued by the SPDB credit card center, the bank says that the classic, gold and platinum card can be used at more than 300,000 outlets across China and more than 20 million outlets around the world.
Since first launching the card in 2004, we have undertaken extensive research and marketing that has better enabled us to understand the needs and habits of Chinese consumers. The knowledge and insights that we have gained provide us with a strong foundation at a time when our business is growing with rapid momentum, said Mr Kuan Tseng, CEO of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank’s credit card center.
