Smart Servicing, an affiliate of Steel Mountain Capital Management, has launched its proprietary Servicing Management Asset Recovery & Tracking (SMART) software solution for mortgage loan asset management.
The SMART will provide residential mortgage loan market professionals with pertinent loan level information necessary to control loss severity and asset level transparency outside the traditional servicing system formats, claimed Smart Servicing.
The SMART software is designed to work in conjunction with existing servicing systems and loss mitigation processes. It will provide customized screen views, which will allow users to track and summarize more than 740 loan level characteristics and related daily servicer actions.
Steel Mountain managing partner Kelly Garland said SMART is designed to remove loan level decision barriers that are so often found in traditional servicing systems and processes.
“As an owner and manager of assets, we have enhanced SMART with real world experience, asset level transparency and tools that promote agile asset management decisions,” Garland said.
