Scottrade, an online investment firm, has announced that it will open a new branch office in Edwardsville, Illinois, on August 25, 2008.

According to Scottrade, its Edwardsville branch will provide the community with a local resource for financial education and customer support. At the branch, customers can learn more about online trading as well as tools and stock research to help them invest online.

The new location will be managed by Eddie Lusk, who began his Scottrade career as a stock broker at the company’s National Service Center in St Louis.
