Rothschild Group has appointed Jim Lawrence as CEO of Rothschild North America (RNA). David Rothschild will continue as executive chairman of RNA.

Mr Lawrence will also become co-head of global investment banking, alongside Nigel Higgins and Olivier Pecoux, both based in Europe.

Mr Lawrence, who one of the founding partners and former chairman of the LEK Partnership, joined Rothschild from Unilever where he most recently held the position of executive director and chief financial officer; prior to that he was vice chairman at General Mills.

Rothschild also named Christopher Lawrence as deputy chairman of global investment banking to develop client base in North America.

The company has appointed David Resnick as chairman of global financing advisory to help further integrate and develop debt advisory, restructuring and equity advisory businesses around the world.
