Reliance Capital, part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, has appointed Madhusudan Kela, who is presently head of equities of Reliance Mutual Fund, as its new chief investment strategist.

Sunil Singhania, currently one of the equity fund managers at Reliance Mutual, will succeed Kela as head of equities.

In his new role, Kela will be responsible to to expand the group’s assets, mentor portfolio managers, and provide strategic inputs and guidance on investments across the group companies.

Reliance Capital group companies manage equity assets of over INR500bn, spread across various businesses including life insurance, mutual fund, private equity, venture capital, offshore funds, portfolio management services, and wealth management.
