Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has launched fully integrated mobile banking applications for select smartphones.

RBC said that its new mobile applications will allow clients to access a full range of services, including the ability to: view account balances for all personal and business accounts; view account details for accounts such as credit lines, credit cards, mortgages and loans;and pay bills (non-recurring and current) for all existing online banking payees.

The new mobile applications will also allow clients to view transaction history; transfer funds between all RBC accounts; send Interac Email Money Transfers; send third-party payments; and locate RBC branches and ATMs.

RBC’s new integrated mobile banking applications are now available for download.

RBC vice president for digital strategy and experience James McGuire said RBC has offered mobile banking services to its clients since 2008 and RBC’s new integrated apps leverage the capability of the device to create a simple and easy to use experience.

"In an era of long work days and short weekends, getting more done can be challenging. We are taking convenience and control to a new level by providing customers with the ability to stay connected with their finances on their schedule," McGuire said.
