Nyse Technologies, the commercial technology unit of Nyse Euronext and Corvil have launched LatencyStats.com, an online resource for market participants to offer transparency regarding latency performance with real-time snapshots of key performance statistics and clear methodologies used for collecting and calculating the statistics. Corvil is a provider of latency management systems.

According to the Corvil, the jointly developed new online tool will allow market data publishers and users to compare latency performance on a like-for-like basis as verified by Corvil. LatencyStats will also feature exclusive content and research from Nyse Euronext, Corvil and others offering important perspectives and information relevant to the latency-sensitive trading community.

Initally, LatencyStats portal will be launched with the US high-frequency feeds of Nyse ArcaBook and Nyse OpenBook, and includes additional Nyse Euronext US and European markets, plus a range of feeds available on the Nyse Technologies SuperFeed platform.

Corvil said that the LatencyStats provides customers with verified standards in latency performance measurements.
