NYSE Euronext's commercial technology division NYSE Technologies has appointed Jon Robson as its chief executive officer, who will be based in New York and directly report to Dominique Cerutti, president & deputy CEO, NYSE Euronext.

In his new role, Robson will manage global capital markets connectivity, modernized transaction and data services, and innovative business systems for the financial services community.

Dominique Cerutti said, "He brings considerable industry experience and proven leadership in building and managing innovative, customer focused global technology solutions."

"Jon will help us further define and execute the next phase of this mission in close partnership with our customers and the financial technology community."

Robson joins NYSE Technologies from Thomson Reuters, where he was heading as the president of the enterprise division, a growth business delivering real-time market data, market data platforms, pricing and reference data services, and capital markets solutions.

NYSE Technologies provides a range of products, services and solutions to the buy side, including order routing, liquidity discovery and access to a community of over 630 Broker-Dealers and execution destinations globally; and the sell side, including high performance, end-to-end messaging software and innovative market data products.
