New Star International, a fund management company, has appointment Arcangelo Barletta as country manager, Italy.
Mr Arcangelo will be responsible for developing relationships in the Italian institutional market. He will report to Philip Goldsmith, the managing director of New Star International.
Arcangelo Barletta has experience in many areas of the financial services industry. His previous positions include head of wholesale business at Morley Fund Management in Milan. Most recently he was country manager at Nordea Investment Funds in Milan.
Philip Goldsmith, the managing director of International at New Star, said: We have seen an increasing demand for New Star high alpha funds internationally and we intend to capitalize on this by building a highly experienced team to grow the business overseas. Having someone with such relevant experience and a highly successful track record in the Italian market will be a great asset to New Star.
