The UK arm of National Australia Bank has tasked business process outsourcing company Xchanging with the job of running its indirect spend and transactional procurement processing.

London-based Xchanging will provide its services to NAB’s UK banking operations, the Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank.

The deal covers all of the indirect spend transacted by the two UK banks, including marketing, ATMs, travel, recruitment, facilities/utilities management as well as non-core IT spend.

Xchanging will also manage the banks’ transactional procurement activity, which involves order raising and invoice processing, by delivering a fully managed procure-to-pay service.
