Financial services company Morgan Stanley is laying off approximately 150 jobs in London due to difficult conditions in the market, reported Reuters, citing sources close to the situation.

The report indicated that the cuts are part of the 1,000 or more lay offs that the bank has been executing over the past few weeks in various branches.

According to Reuters, the company said: The firm is engaged in an ongoing process of assessing its personnel needs in light of overall market conditions, business priorities and individual performance. This process will involve head-count reductions in some areas and additions in other areas.
