Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM), the investment management division of Morgan Stanley, has appointed Michael Kushma as new chief investment officer of global fixed income. Mr Kushma will oversee all of MSIM's fixed income strategies.

Mr Kushma is currently co-head of MSIM’s global and European fixed income team and has 23 years of investment experience. Since joining MSIM in 1995, Mr Kushma has helped to oversee the global and European fixed income team which comprises 20 investors based in London, New York and Tokyo and has approximately $25bn in assets under management.
