North Carolina-based Capital Bank Corporation has appointed Michael Moore as CFO.
Mr Moore will replace Christine Baker, who has announced plans to retire at the end of the year. He will assume responsibility for financial reporting, investments, budgeting, investor relations and strategic planning.
Mr Moore has most recently served as senior vice president for funds management at Sky Financial Group. Before that, he held leadership positions with community and regional banks in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. He is a graduate of Valparaiso University.
