Mellon Capital Management has selected Eagle Investment Systems' data management platform in addition to the vendor's performance measurement and attribution system currently in operation.
Mellon Capital will move its data into the Eagle data hub, a centralized data repository for investment data, which will enable it to upgrade back office operation.
The data hub will centrally manage, qualify and enhance Mellon Capital’s data, which will then be fed to various middle- and back-office systems.
Mellon Capital deputy COO Linda Lillard said that following the company’s success in deploying Eagle’s performance measurement system, the company expects significant improvements around data workflow and improved flexibility using the Data Mart.
“These and other factors make Eagle the right choice for the next phase in our investment management systems enhancements,” Lillard said.
