MBNA Europe Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of US-based Bank of America Corporation, has launched its MBNA Rewards Platinum American Express credit card, which offers a series of rewards, discounts, offers and experiences on top of an exclusive complimentary concierge service.

Provided by TenUK, Europe’s lifestyle and home management service, the card’s complimentary concierge service offers members a wide range of options from sourcing tradesmen to booking theater tickets.

The card aims to help those that live a busy life, by helping to organize the cardholder’s personal life. Under the scheme, it accumulates points while shopping with the card. With every GBP1 spent, the card holder earns two MBNA reward points to exchange for holidays, shopping vouchers, and nights out, among others. Furthermore, customers can also earn more points by shopping at selected outlets, known as MBNA partners.

In addition, the new MBNA Rewards Platinum American Express card offers users access to the MBNA TravelPlus Service and American Express SelectsSM providing a range of holidays, flights, hotels and exclusive discounts.

The card carries a GBP40 annual fee but will be waived for the first 12 months.
