MasterCard Worldwide has appointed Sachin Mehra as its new corporate treasurer. He succeeds Andrea Robertson, who is retiring from the services.

Mr Mehra brings with him a range of financial experience in global corporations having held positions in key financial markets around the world, including New York, Singapore, Shanghai and Brussels.

Most recently, Mr Mehra was with Hess, where he served as treasurer for more than two years. Before joining Hess, he held various positions in the General Motors, including roles in the treasurer’s office and General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC).

Martina Hund-Mejean, chief financial officer of MasterCard, said: “Sachin brings breadth and depth of experience at a number of global companies, making him an excellent addition to the MasterCard team. His experience will certainly benefit the organization, and we look forward to his insights and expertise.”
