Knight Capital Group has consolidated its US broker-dealer subsidiaries into two entities, Knight Capital Americas and Knight Execution & Clearing Services, effective 1 January 2011.

Under this process, Knight will merge Knight Capital Markets and Knight Libertas into Knight Equity Markets, which will be renamed Knight Capital Americas.

Similarly, Knight will merge Knight BondPoint and Knight Direct into Knight Clearing Services, which will be renamed Knight Execution & Clearing Services.

Knight said that Knight Capital Americas and Knight Execution & Clearing Services are registered with the SEC and are members of FINRA and other SROs.

In addition, Knight’s US broker-dealers are members of all major domestic exchanges and marketplaces covering stocks, options and futures.

Knight’s non-US broker-dealer subsidiaries are Knight Capital Europe and Knight Capital Asia.
