InsurCard, which provides prepaid card programs for Workers Compensation payments, has launched the InsurCard Virtual Card for insurers and TPAs who pay workers compensation benefits directly to healthcare service providers.
According to the firm, the InsurCard Virtual Card program provides electronic delivery of payments to providers, at free of charge to the payer.
InsurCard’s new offering electronically pays Workers Comp benefits to both claimants and providers, said the firm.
Claimants will receive all their indemnity payments without spending a penny through a personalized InsurCard Prepaid Card while providers receive their payments using their existing office technology.
Headquartered at Pennsylvania, InsurCard deploys specialists in insurance operations and systems and prepaid card programs based on the stringent requirements of the insurance industry.
InsurCard products comprise the InsurCard Prepaid Card for Workers Compensation payments, the InsurCard Instant-Issue Prepaid Card for Property claim payments, and the new InsurCard Virtual Card for payments to Healthcare and other Service Providers.
