Integrates its Business Security Assurance product suite with McAfee's ePolicy Orchestrator software

Insightix, a provider of network security intelligence and control product, has joined the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance (SIA) partner program.

As part of the program, Insightix will integrate its Business Security Assurance (BSA) product suite with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) software. By providing network visibility to the ePO platform, ePO software administrators will have a view of network, device and user information, the company said.

Insightix said that the integrated joint offering is expected to provide McAfee customers with a visibility of unmanaged devices on their networks, to allow them to assess their risk, and enable corrective action to reduce risk.

Insightix BSA provides network, device, and user intelligence to maintain a real-time inventory of assets connected to the enterprise network, their profiles, and the identities of those using the assets.

McAfee ePO software allows enterprises and governments to manage security and compliance products from multiple vendors.

Ofir Arkin, founder and CTO of Insightix, said: “Our joint solution will enable our mutual customers to significantly reduce the complexity of safeguarding against the unmanaged and unknown devices on their networks, thus delivering greater protection, reduced risk, and increased compliance.
