Citigroup's banking arm Citibank has partnered with Indonesia's state-owned airline, Garuda Indonesia PT, to launch a co-branded credit card known as the Garuda Indonesia Citibank credit card.

Citibank says the card features an array of travel benefits targeting the premium traveler sector. Holders of the Gurada Indonesia Citibank credit card are said to benefit from: double reward miles for any transaction with Garuda Indonesia, a 2,500 mileage bonus upon activation and access to executive areas of airport lounges and check-ins.

Sanjay Kao, card business director for Citibank, said, We are delighted to form this strategic alliance with Garuda Indonesia and are confident the Garuda Indonesia Citibank card will be a very popular addition to our portfolio. As many of our customers are also frequent flyers, whether for business or leisure, this card provides a host of benefits that are relevant and attractive to them.
