Hyperwallet, a global payouts provider to the new economy, has announced a partnership with Choice Bank to bolster its already extensive prepaid card capabilities.

Choice Bank, an international bank specializing in commercial banking and card services, is capable of offering prepaid cards in upwards of 45 global currencies.

Through the partnership, Hyperwallet will immediately make its prepaid card services available to clients in a range of new currencies, including Mexican Peso (MXN), Australian Dollar (AUD), and Japanese Yen (JPY). Additional currency options will be made available in the future to support the needs of Hyperwallet’s growing roster of clients.

Hyperwallet’s CEO Brent Warrington said: "Whether they’re paying an app developer in Sydney or a business consultant in Tokyo, many businesses today need to distribute earnings to payees all around the world.

"Prepaid cards deliver those earnings in real-time, giving payees immediate access to their money. In this increasingly global economy, rapid and convenient payout options are an absolute necessity."

In related news, Hyperwallet recently announced that it would add prepaid card functionality to its growing suite of REST payout APIs later this year.
