HSBC UK has introduced a mobile application Fast Balance app from Monitise, allowing the customers to get instant access to their account balance and recent transactions from their smartphone.
The application is available for download from HSBC UK website, which currently supports iPhone, and the company will make itavailable for Android and Blackberry phones.
Using the new application through their Smartphone, consumers can can easily and securely access up to 10 accounts, check their balances and see the history of six recent transactions, claims Monitise.
Monitise chief operating officer Mike Keyworth said the contract with HSBC is further evidence of trust and the firms ability to build and launch new platforms quickly and efficiently for its partners.
Developed by Monitise with HSBC, Fast Balance is part of a new three-year deal with the technology and services company to develop and support them.
Monitise provides mobile banking, payments and commerce networks services across the globe.
