In a bid to enhance its offerings for high value customers, Malaysia-headquartered Hong Leong Bank has introduced a new platinum credit card that offers up to 2% cash rebate on card spend.
The new platinum card from Hong Leong Bank (HLB) makes the bank the only credit card issuer in Malaysia to offer a card with up to 2% cash rebate on card spend, on top of rewards points.
The high value card also offers a first supplementary card that is free for life, first year annual fee waver, plus an extra one-year fee waiver for new card members who transfer their balance from a competitor credit card account
In addition, rewards available with the new card include up to 50% savings on first and business class tickets on selected airlines, exclusive preferential rates at Thistle & Guoman International Hotels, and free travel insurance for travel protection up to RM2,000,000 and travel inconvenience up to RM5,000.
With the Hong Leong Platinum Credit Card, the bank will be able to get a firm foothold in the core of the premium segment – the high income to mass affluent cardholders, commented HLB’s managing director, Yvonne Chia.
HLB’s range of cards also includes the Hong Leong Gold Credit Card, the Touch ‘n Go Zing Mastercard, and the Hong Leong Mobile Credit Card.
