Gottex Fund Management has selected UMB Fund Services (UMBFS), a subsidiary of UMB Financial, to provide registered hedge fund services.
UMBFS said it has developed and enhanced its service offering for registered hedge funds over the past several years. This specialized offering combines UMBFS’ expertise and capabilities in the registered fund space (including regulatory filings and efficient servicing of unlimited numbers of investors) with the unregistered hedge fund expertise of its alternative investments division, JD Clark & Company (JDC).
UMBFS/JDC have been selected to provide back-office services for Gottex’s two new registered funds: Gottex Multi-Asset Endowment Fund and Gottex Multi-Alternatives Fund.
Gottex senior investment partner and portfolio manager for global multi-asset business Bill Landes said Gottex conducted a search of service providers across the US, large and small, and found UMB to be very strong in the multi-asset fund-of-funds space.
