German American Bancorp has selected Sollen Technologies, an internet-based application services provider, to integrate its loan product and pricing management tool through Harland Financial Solutions’s web-based E3 loan production platform.

The mutually supported application allows loan officers to search Sollen’s decisioning engine, directly returning qualified products and pricing data to the E3 platform.

Sollen’s Product and Pricing Engine is a web-based solution that offers a complete pipeline management system with access to multi-channel, multi-lender data from an easy-to-use interface.

In addition to Lender Online, Sollen Technologies offers suite of services that allows the complete automation of loan product pricing and eligibility, including BestEx and RateSheet Generator. German American has combined two of Sollen’s tools to deliver consistency and accuracy across multiple platforms.

Through Sollen’s agreement with Harland Financial Solutions, E3 users can access Sollen’s pricing engine to determine eligible loan products and corresponding pricing through the E3 system. The use of XML and web services allows Sollen and Harland Financial solutions to exchange data over the internet in real time. This lets loan originators focus more on the borrower’s needs and eliminates sifting through hundreds of pages of loan product guidelines.

Peggy Merkel, vice president and loan services manager at German American Bancorp, said: “I found the set-up process to be very smooth, and the Sollen staff extremely helpful and responsive to our goals with streamlining our loan pricing processes.”
