FundZone, Standard Life's mutual fund supermarket, has announced that it now has access to over 1,000 distinct funds.

FundZone, which has added over 250 funds since it was launched in February 2007, has recently added 11 new funds to its range which includes a growing number of SICAV open-ended collective investment schemes and many exclusive funds.

Mark Polson, head of communication at Standard Life Savings, said: By offering such an extensive range of leading funds through a single platform, advisers can realize significant business efficiencies and clients don’t need to be out of the market as conditions change. Our open stance on re-registration also gives advisers the reassurance we have no artificial barriers in transferring on or off the platform in specie.
