Fidelity National Information Services (FIS), a US based provider of banking and payments technology, has received a new three-year outsourcing contract from ING Direct France to provide extended outsourced application management services for the FIS Profile core banking suite.
The service-level-based agreement includes maintenance, support and application development services.
According to FIS, benefits include flexibility in resourcing and building upon Profile’s ability to scale in support of new projects and migration of accounts.
ING Direct France IT director Elgoni Malik said that this new agreement strengthens an excellent relationship with FIS that the company have enjoyed since 1999 and will enable the bank to gain further operating efficiencies in these tough economic times.
