First Tennessee Bank, a subsidiary of First Horizon National, has launched mobile banking service to offer customers access to their accounts any time, any place through their mobile phones.

Mobile banking lets customers check their account balances; transfer funds at any time; view recent transactions; and find the nearest ATM or financial center.

First Horizon chief information officer Bruce Livesay said that mobile banking keeps customers connected with the right products and services at the right time.

“Mobile capabilities have exploded since the first commercial text message was sent in 1992, and the revolution will continue. Future mobile banking capabilities include bill pay and remote deposit capture, in which you take a picture of a check and deposit it, all via phone,” Livesay said.
