First Place Financial completes acquisition of HBLS Bank

First Place Financial has completed its acquisition of the Hicksville Building, Loan and Savings Bank.

With the addition of Hicksville Building, Loan and Savings Bank’s (HBLS Bank) banking facility in Hicksville, Ohio, First Place will now operate 42 retail locations in Ohio and Michigan, two business financial centers in Ohio and 18 loan production offices located in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and North Carolina.
