First Financial Bank is planning to build a new hub for its Montgomery County, US, banking market on Far Hills Avenue at Shroyer Road in the former Groby's Garden Center that is being re-developed as Charlotte's Garden.

This commitment to a new facility in Kettering underscores the bank’s plan to significantly expand its presence in Dayton. Expected to open for business by the third quarter of 2008, the new building will include a full-service banking center, offices for commercial relationship managers, and space for sales team support. Plans call for three convenient drive-thru lanes plus a drive-up ATM.

Roger Furrer, market president for First Financial Bank’s Dayton and Middletown markets, said: This exciting new location gives us an ideal place to offer our established skills and expertise to help the area’s growing number of residents and businesses be more successful by offering sound financial solutions. Along with our traditional high-quality service, we are offering some exciting new approaches to banking access and service.
