Texas-based First Community Bank is using the Phoenix System from software firm Harland Financial Solutions to address its bank core processing needs.
The bank is outsourcing the operation of the system through Harland’s enterprise services center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
According to Harland, the Pheonix system was selected for its ease of integration and open source architecture.
After looking at a number of alternatives we chose the Phoenix System because we believe that the functionality, flexibility and efficiencies the system provides will allow us to differentiate ourselves within the marketplace and allow us to out-perform our competitors by providing better products and services for our customers, said Robert Dunkin, CFO of First Community Bank.
