F&C Asset Management's Lifestyle fund range has been added to the Simply Biz and Compliance First Capital Reward scheme.

The F&C Lifestyle range, launched in March 2007, is a suite of multi-manager funds which mirror the asset allocation models derived from Dynamic Planner, a third-party risk-profiling tool that is used by independent financial advisers (IFAs).

F&C has said that this new range of funds provides advisers with an effective way of addressing some of the challenges of treating customers fairly by ensuring that client portfolios remain appropriately matched to their risk-profile.

Mark Parry, director of strategic partnerships at F&C, said: We believe that Lifestyle is an ideal fit for this type of scheme as it is designed to provide outsourced investment expertise in asset allocation, risk profiling and fund selection. This approach adds value to both the investor and the adviser over the medium to long term, which fits perfectly with the ethos behind Capital Reward.

Ian Thorneycroft, managing director of Simply Biz, added: The F&C Lifestyle range is an excellent addition to Capital Reward. They are based on asset allocation models generated by the team at Distribution Technology and with the funds selected by F&C’s robust multi-manager fund selection process. Together they provide IFAs with low maintenance, well managed investment portfolios to meet the varying needs of their clients.
