East Carolina Bank (ECB) has extended its partnership with InfoTech Alliance Bank Services by signing an agreement to deploy FIS integrated Horizon banking system and a host of other integrated technology solutions.

According to the ECB, Horizon is a flexible core banking solution featuring open architecture and advanced technology that involves minimal risk and disruption to business operations and customers.

Currently, InfoTech Alliance provides item processing services for ECB.

ECB president and CEO Dwight Utz said that the Horizon core banking system is a comprehensive solution that, combined with additional value added products, provides automation, intuitive workflows, relationship banking, simplified and faster on-boarding for our customers and associates that supports our customer centric approach.

FIS Financial Solutions Group executive vice president Anthony Jabbour said that that FIS’ Horizon platform offers ECB enhanced financial reporting capabilities, innovative transaction processing and advanced relationship management technology to enable the bank to gain a more comprehensive view of its customers.

“All of these features give banks a solid core system that is comprehensive, while delivering flexibility that all types of financial institutions can benefit from,” Jabbour said.
